What is Keedoh?
With the help of gamification-based platform games, Keedoh makes it possible to teach young children computer skills in an easy and enjoyable way.

Project main objectives
- MVP contains five games: Completing Words, Typewars (typing sentences), Rapid Typing (entering letters and special signs), Drawing Game, Coloring Game.
- Users take part in games in group or individual sessions.
- It is possible to create a set of games.
- The user is able to create an account and access the history of games.
- Using the existing MaterialUI2 component library and design system.
- Once work started, the need to save games as templates was also identified, as well as to create a marketplace with ready-made templates (created by developers and users).

Kick off
Once work started, we divided the screens into the following groups:
- Landing Page
- User Service
- Lobby
- Game Creator
- Game screens
- Stats
Also we identified two proto users - depending on the type of user:

And defined their needs:
- Jimmy needs an intuitive interface compatible with other applications he has used. He uses the computer in class and needs a design that is pleasing to the eye and safe, adapted to his age.
- Jane needs to prepare the activities at home, her main challenge is keeping the students' attention. She hopes that with Keedoh, the children in the class will focus on positive competition and not get distracted.
User paths:
Based on information about the scope of the MVP and the specifics of the proto-users, we can identify the following usage paths:

Design
On the basis of preliminary findings, we defined the design style as NeoBrutalism, which by its component and colour specificity fitted in best with regard to accessibility for children. Very simple interfaces with high contrasts and buttons sprinkled with characteristic animations create a pleasant and accessible environment for children to work in.

Game creator
The main challenge of creating the game creator was the form structure (which had to be consistent across all types of games) and the dynamic validation of the forms so as to optimise the time spent on such a laborious task.

Design Key Elements

Conclusions and future plans:
- MaterialUI is a very elastic design system giving a lot of scope for designers.
- Creating game wizards has given experience in designing multi-level, complex forms. In order to facilitate their input, the user should:
-see inserted changes
-know in which part of form he’s currently at
-be rewarded with animations or eye-pleasant colours. - In the next stages of development, we plan to introduce:
-Marketplace with game templates
-Three next games: Pons, Quizes and Memory
